UNILAG Partners with Federal Government to Expand Housing Opportunities for Staff

In a bid to improve housing accessibility for its members of staff, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has taken a bold step by engaging with the Federal Government on strategic collaboration.

On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, a delegation from UNILAG met with the Honourable Minister for Housing, Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, at his office in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The meeting focused on how the university community could benefit from the Federal Government’s ongoing housing initiatives in Lagos State.

The delegation was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, and included notable members such as Prof. Timothy Nubi, Founding Director of the UNILAG Centre for Housing and Sustainable Development, and Prof. Matthew Ilori, Director of Academic Planning.
